📋 Before You Come

💡 Advice and Guidance

We're happy to give advice on items, even if you're not asking us to repair them. Whether you need help identifying a problem, finding the right spare part, or understanding how something works, our volunteers are here to help!

⚠️ Important Notes

  • We cannot guarantee that every item can be fixed, but we'll do our best
  • We don't do complex repairs - We don't have time for complex repairs, and it's not fair on businesses that rely on such repairs. We focus on simpler repairs that can be completed during our sessions.
  • We don't carry spare parts - If a spare part is needed, you'll need to order it yourself. We'll help ensure you get the right part.
  • Large items (like washing machines or fridges) may be too big for our events
  • Safety first - we won't repair items that could be dangerous, and repairers may refuse excessively dirty items that pose health hazards
  • You'll be working alongside our volunteers - this is a learning experience!
